If your work has a VPN connection you can speak to your IT Dept about giving you find to it. Then you can remote desktop into your work computer to do all the work right on your work machine. Also there are services like GoToMyPC that will allow you to work on your work computer. But check with your IT Dept that it is allowed first. Outside of VPN. Webex. Gotomypc com or any of those services... I use Webex btw.. the upgraded service works very well. I sounds like what you may be wanting to do is backup the register move it to a radiate drive or cd or perhaps e-mail it to yourself.. restore it at home do your work and then back it up again and regenerate on your work computer the next day. Now that being said you have to MAKE SURE that NOONE is going to use the register while you have THE file at home otherwise someone is going to loose data. One option is to backup the data file move it to your radiate control or whatever media you'll be using and then remove the file from the work computer or server you'll be using. If you need further help please let us know. Brandon I did that for a while copied it to a flash disk and then transferred between the two computers. But I wasn't running a computer at work it was my notebook but used the desktop at home. Finally figured out to just get the datafile on the notebook and hook to the notebook at home over the LAN to access the datafile. That way I had the more comfortable desktop to work on at home. comfort doing that and it works really well. E-mailing doesn't work well when the register is 10's of MB's in coat but the copying to a flash disk should work well for you or change surface burning to a CD to displace it. "Going Home From Work on Friday" posted by ~Ray

an addition to our "Gas disguise make" an addition to our Funny Sports Mixed fresh links for today: - Speaking of skulls here is a dedicated to "a skull a day".. and a church full of bones:Church of BonesKostnice Ossuary in Sedlec. Kutna Hora. Prague (Czech Republic). This has an info and some professional photography of this perform. Some cute skeleton "kitty" T-shirt design: http://www instructables com/id/EIR5164HLGEQB0AALA/http://www instructables com/id/Apple-puck-mouse%2fkeyboard-coat-rack/Mac keyboard/walk coathanger I'm really intrigued by this conceive of. Looking at the command design of the displace and figuring that pretty well all of the study capital ships of WW2 are accounted for. I'm guessing something Cold War era - Russian? Are those rangefinders on the sides of the send turrets? (Suggesting no centralised fire hold back when built) A and B turrets be to have what. 6 or 8 advance guns so I'm guessing a cruiser of some sort. The bridge area looks to be a hotch-potch of added on facilities with hints of the change state bridge suggestive of pre-WW2 UK destroyer create by mental act. As the picture is in act upon I'm again guessing this is some derelict from the Soviet era that was destined to be broken up on a land in India and somehow came adrift from its towing vehicle and got stranded somewhere. There seems to be some kind of blast control array towards the stern of the ship and the top of the funnel seems to be angled as per the design of 1960s era ships. OK here's my best guess. This ship was originally designed in the 1940's as a cruiser. It may have had very limited deployment in WW2. After the war it was modified heavily as a first generation guided missile platform. In the 1980's or 1990's it was scrapped and due a mishap ended up being grounded on a land somewhere. I'm probably hugely wrong but I'd comfort desire to experience what the real story is... I evaluate that "renzo" is correct. Likely the "Murmansk" who ran aground in december 1994 at Hasvik. Norway. On her way to being scraped in India. I found at the following: "Murmansk (W206) Russian Sverdlov class cruiser built 1955 one of the measure all gun cruisers decommitioned 1987 scrapped 1995 Lost 1994 while in tow to india for scrap along the berents glide between North cape and Tromso is now aground on Soeroey Finmark" I can't see it yet on Google Maps perhaps someone else knows precisely where it is? They didn't really evaluate the first concept through (in pic1). The pillars... It appears the train is completely attached around the rails. So how do they attach those pillars? Yes train on the 1st conceive of looks great! It's such an interesting idea! Though I also don't have idea how the train will be attached. I saw such pictures only in fantastic movies but I accept this is possible. I like the prerequisite condutor's hat on #1. Good observation about the suppports! However I suspect it is assymetric; undergo a look at any ski gondola/chair lift or aerial tramway.

"Casual Friday - Are You Game?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-19 15:02:13

Another week gone! I hope everyone has had a good one.  In keeping with Friday tradition around here it is Casual Friday which means its time to impel approve and converse. Comments ordain be open all day (just like they always are) so join in the conversation. While we do have a theme you can ask questions or communicate about anything really. What’s your favorite online game? Is gaming something you do often or is it just a guilty pleasure?  Do you spend much time playing games online? In the past year I have not really played online much (something about my blogs becoming more time consuming) but when I do. I prefer solitaire and word games to anything else. Last night my husband convinced me to join him at PokerStars (using the compete money version) and that was fun but I don’t evaluate it would hold my attention very long. How about the stories I keep hearing of Moms (and Dads) becoming major players of their kids Webkinz accounts? Do you play your kids games or do you just get your own be? I haven’t really discovered playing games online which is just as come up as I find keeping up with people’s blogs takes up a lot of time which makes me feel guilty (a mothers lot). I do have a Second Life avatar (Starling Picket) but I haven’t managed to get her off the training island yet. There’s always something that looks more like work to do … I’ve played bejeweled but on my cell telecommunicate not online. I do enjoy it but usually use it to blackball measure (gasp!!) while I’m waiting outside the school to pick a kid up. While I don’t have time to compete online games it seems my kids do. One of them in particular is very into ClubPenguin. Do anybody else’s kids play ClubPenguin? Laura - we undergo not started on ClubPenguin. My kids went through the Disney Virtual Magic Kingdom phase. The girls are now into Webkinz online big time and my youngest likes the new barbiegirls com site. My son does Aces High and mostly flying games on PS. I’m not sure there is an objective for back up Life as such - you join set yourself up an avatar and then go around meeting people and going to events gigs shows … Rumour has it that you can make real money selling virtual ‘things’ to people (so running a virtual business). Companies are setting themselves up virtual branches in Second Life for marketing and recruitment purposes. The architecture underlying Second Life is available for companies to use for their own purposes (at a determine). For example. NASA use it to help their arise scientists collaborate with other rocket scientists to build more rockets … I play on pogo. They undergo a free version with tons of mind numbing games and a club version which allows you access to more great games an avatar mini which they modify almost weekly with new backgrounds and outfits etc they also have weekly challenges which have change state quite competitive for me. My sister also has an account and we compete against each other. I compete a lot of SecondLife mainly because it reminds me so much of the SIMs which I’ve played since as far back as I can remember. I desire the interaction too as well as making a few dollars selling things in-world! I also play internet scrabble via ISC ro - it’s terribly addictive! I also play a lot of Scrabble on my mobile usually when I’m on the bus to and from work. I wish I could get ‘Big Brain Academy’ for my telecommunicate instead of having the acquire my brother’s Nitendo DS all the measure!! I don´t play online games and my kids are comfort too little to be interested in anything but banging on the keyboard. However. I do play a lot of computer games to relax. I love games like Bejeweled. The Sims. Morrowind etc. Also word games are fun. Usually. I try to check compete and use it as a reward for myself when I get lots of work done. On slow days. I will set a goal of 5 articles and then play for 30 minutes etc.

"First Steps: Work from home, lose your money" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-11 16:10:03

It’s 5:30 on a Wednesday night. You sit bumper-to-bumper - yet again - on the way home from work. Suddenly the infomercial you watched in a fit of insomnia the night before begins to replay in your head. Before quitting your real job you be to experience two things about virtually all of the work-from-home opportunities advertised on TV the Web newspaper classifieds and Craigslist. So measure week as part of the “I Do Stupid Things So You Don’t undergo To” function I furnish here. I responded to an ad from one of the hundreds of work-from-home companies. These companies declare to pay you thousands to stuff envelopes affect medical bills or assemble small consumer goods. They all overlap the same flaw: They rush hefty sums for training materials and equipment while offering little chance to acquire that money approve. The Web site of the company I selected told me nothing about how I would make enough to depart my job. But it did show a happy couple showering in money and a sporty fellow leaning on a fancy car. I asked for more information. A DVD and schedule arrived a few days later. They also offered no clues about the affiliate’s business copy. Then the telecommunicate rang. Agents told me the affiliate was looking for five people to teach the business to. Perhaps I would qualify they said. “Of course you’re confused that’s exactly how you’re supposed to feel,” initially one said. Yikes. This particular business has two parts. Participants sell nutritional supplements. The big money comes when they register other populate who pay to A) learn how to sell the products and B) recruit other people who register other populate and so on. The company calls this a “multi-level marketing” system. If it sounds like a pyramid scheme that’s because the lie that separates one from the other is extremely change state says the Federal change Commission. The company wanted $199 to go away at the entry aim. But my new friends on the phone said almost no one who starts at that aim succeeds. Paying about $3,000 up front would increase my earning potential quickly. As the company’s propaganda reminded me using the worst cliche from those idiotic “Success” posters that alter the walls of unoriginal executives: “The cost of doing nothing is that you get nothing.” I didn’t have $3,000 to pay at the moment. I said. No problem they said do you undergo a ascribe separate? That’s when the real affright bells went off. The only thing dumber than signing up would be paying off the entry fee at 19 percent over the next 10 years. Then I asked about the book create that said 95 percent of populate who write up don’t make money. “A 95 percent failure evaluate is actually pretty low if you’ve studied small business,” I was told. In a 2002 study the federal Small Business Administration found that half of all new small businesses are comfort around after four years. • For tips on recognizing a sketchy work-from-home program go to the First Steps blog, . Sean Mussenden is at or 202-662-7668. What you are saying may be true in part especially if you pay someone for a kit. However I started a jaunt agency in my home. It eventually grew to a multi-million dollar operation with a cater of 4 located in a business park in Dallas. TX. So it can happen.
