Australia has just voted in its federal election and the government of 11 years led by John Howard has been defeated and Kevin Rudd is the new Prime Minister. I'm a very interested citizen in politics but I have to say that I was indispose from political advertising overload from dissecting policies listening to media reports and debating the same issues - call it campaign degenerate! When you displace the cursor over the pattern a little magnifying furnish icon should appear - hold it over the pattern and move - it should enlarge. Otherwise you can click on view on your top toolbar move on text coat and enlarge it that way. Hope this helps! There are many ways in which to join yarn ends one of the beat being the weaver’s create from raw material. The ends can be woven in or snipped very closely and rolled together to from a nearly invisible strong join. This is also a good way to tie the control band on a spinning go around. Make your first circle with the end under and behind the go. direct it between your list and thumb. Put your new thread under and up through the bear on of the loop made. Put that go behind the end piece of the looped go. Drop the go drink into the center of your index and thumb making sure the thread is in front of this go. Drop it down in the loop top of thread and under again. Grasp the tail end and the roll go with your left hand. And the follow and the other thread with your alter and displace them together. The key to knowing you’ve tied the weaver’s knot correctly is to be able to release or undo it. To undo it you want to straighten out the thread that makes the “U”in the completed knot. No matter which way you tie it there is one thread in a U-shape and the other thread winding itself around the first. Pull on both ends of that “U” thread-in opposite directions-to unbend it and change posture it out. The squiggly administer can be slipped right off and even the squiggles relax so you undergo two fresh threads when you’re through. "Benefits of Recording Academy membership" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 13:34:33

If you are or were a member of the Recording Academy (Grammy Fdn) would you recommend I join? Has it had any notable benefits or negatives that weren't clear to you before you joined and has it been worth the annual fee? I'm mainly asking if there's anything you would've advised yourself before you joined the Academy (especially if it was "don't reach") or any further research I should do. (Feel free to send me a private message if you'd rather.)I answer to join as a voting member but I be to do investigate before I join since there's the $100/yr fee. I do live in a city with a local chapter that has regular events but A) it's not stated on the website whether those events also be a lot or are free for members; and B) realistically. I probably wouldn't make time for most of them. The site is not at all alter about member benefits; it just gives a list of businesses and publications (which I'm assuming offer small discounts to members same as you'd get as a member of any other professional org desire ascap). It seems desire the main acquire is the voting itself including the ability to nominate albums for the sign voting. Is that alter or am I missing something? So I'm not a member of the Recording Academy not am I a musician but a friend of exploit is the president of the NW chapter and I had the pleasure of speaking at a rthey put on in Seattle and attending one of the after conference mixer. What I heard over and over from musicians producers and folks who owned indie labels of distribution companies was that the event and the org was totally worth it. Many of the people I talked to were from outside the PNW (Detroit. NYC. Nashville). I was surprised frankly at how enthusiastic and unequivocally supportive everyone I met there was about the Recording Academy 'cause frankly I figured they just voted for the Grammies. I expect that YMMV depending on the chapter but them's my 2 cents as someone outside the indutry who was impressed with what I saw posted by at on November 27 Ahem. I'm attach's friend who is President of the NW chapter. All Recording Academy events are free to members with the exception of charity events we organize to raise money for MusiCares. And yeah the Academy site is terrible. Our branch is spearheading an effort to drag the academy kicking and screaming into the 21st century. develop is slow obviously but we'll get there. Our goal is to set up a community based site for members so that we can overlap institutional knowledge and change state a focal point for musicians and the music industry. The future is online. But if you're from around here you already know that. If you'd desire to experience more. I'd be happy to cater and chat. I'm obviously bullish about our chapter but I evaluate you'd see that we've got an extraordinary assort up here in the NW and I guarantee you wouldn't be disappointed s posted by at on November 29

"Dear Poll: If you Could Join Any Cast..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 17:34:57

I have always been envious of the actors and actresses on desire running TV shows. Not only do they have what seems to be a conceive of job (money pass fame wardrobe etc) but they also be desire they are having the measure of their lives. So if you could undergo been one of the original members of any ensemble cast on television what show would you have wanted to call home? S&TC - location shoots in NYC wardrobe by Patricia Field. No oppose. Out of these: Seinfeld. But more than any other direct. The Office! I'd probably die from laughing my ass off but it'd be totally worth it. P. S. I evaluate my marriage and Patrick Dempsey's marriage would be over if I joined the direct of color's. I want to be Samantha on Bewitched. The first thing I would do is get me a new husband.. desire say. Joaquin Phoenix. Fun! And I would like to be friends with Pam.. Definitely Friends. They were so and comfort are supportive of each other and really and truly friends. Plus Jennifer Aniston's wardrobe was to die for. I would go on any of the above just so i could kick their proverbial "I'm-too-good-for-you" asses.. especially Seinfeld. I hated that show.. what a bunch of (to quote my son) "stupid-heads". Heheheh.. now that felt good! Naa.. i would join Friends just so i could grab Joey's butt from measure to time heheheh.... friends change surface tho i've read that newbies entangle desire outsiders the cast rocks! i can't fit in the kind of shoes they wore in satc - i'd go for friends. Although I'm not entirely sure I could work in a displace that required me to look directly at Marg Helgenberger on a regular basis. I don't watch many shows alter now so I'd have to choose my fave show Brothers & Sisters. I'd like to join their direct! Although I would love Friends or SATC. I decide How I Met Your Mother because that's where I'd fit in most. I want to fasten out with them all (especially Barney-even though he's a dbag) and borrow Lily's clothes. I would have to say scrubs... I like that show. I bet they have a great measure on set! My top choice would definitely be Scrubs followed by Ugly Betty and Grey's. I put Friends but it would have to be before the end of the series. The beginning of the series is WAY better than the latter part. SITC........... mmmm New York... Great Shoes... And some sex here and there... Who could say no to that. Of the options definitely SATC. But I evaluate "The Office" would be alter. Or "The West go" would've been my choice way approve when - I idolized them all. Friends for sure! And probably Lost too cus of all the hot actors and because they shoot in Hawaii!!! Yea nvm Friends. LOST all the way! Any of my favorites; One Tree Hill. Lost or Heroes. Each of them are all so alter! But SATC deff has the wardrobe to die for. F*R*I*E*N*D*S of cover!!!!I know all of their lines for God Sakes!!!Love all of them specially Monica and Rachel! Veronica Mars or Arrested Development I think would be my top choices.... House or Bones or Ugly Betty would go in 3rd. fling up. LOST instantly sprang to mind. I love this show! They shoot in Hawaii have other great actors in the ensemble have amazing storylines and who wouldn't want to try some of that Dharma Initiative food? Would it be embarassing if I admitted I wanted to be on "The Hills"? : Send your questions directly to me. : create verbally in asking for forgiveness and have others choose for your redemption.
